Lycopene In Animal Production

Lycopene is a natural carotenoid, mainly found in ripe tomatoes, watermelon, guava, rose hip, papaya, grapefruit and other fruits. It cannot synthesize lycopene by itself, and 85% of its intake comes from tomatoes and tomato-based products.

Lycopene has anti-oxidation, lipid-lowering, anti-inflammatory and other functions.
